Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Decent Dynamix ("we", "us", "our") and govern your use of the SOLDER mobile application and getsolder.com (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

Important. The Service is provided "as is" and you use it at your own risk. SOLDER helps people meet in the real world; you are solely responsible for who you choose to interact with and your safety when doing so.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 17 years old to use SOLDER.
You must have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
You must not be barred from using the Service under any applicable law and must not be on any sanctions or denied-party list.
If you have previously been banned from the Service, you may not create a new account.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure.
You are responsible for all activity under your account.
You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.
One account per person. No automation, scraping, or bots.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

Harass, threaten, stalk, defraud, or impersonate any person.
Post or transmit content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, defamatory, sexually explicit involving minors, or that infringes anyone's rights.
Solicit minors or expose minors to inappropriate content.
Engage in commercial solicitation, spam, or bulk messaging.
Share another person's personal information without their consent.
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, cryptographic keys, or unencrypted message contents from other users.
Bypass our rate limits, blocks, bans, or any other technical restriction.
Use the Service to facilitate any illegal activity, including trafficking, controlled substances, weapons, or violence.

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Violations may result in immediate removal of content, account suspension, or permanent ban without notice.

4. Reporting & blocking

Every user can block any other user. Blocking is mutual and immediate: blocked pairs no longer see each other's messages, check-ins, or profiles, and cannot DM each other.

To report abuse or objectionable content, email abuse@getsolder.com or use the in-app report flow on a profile or message. We aim to act on reports within 24 hours.

5. User content

You retain ownership of the content you post (profile, messages, photos). By posting content you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, transmit, display, and (for public rooms) make available that content to other users solely to operate the Service. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except as needed to comply with law or enforce these Terms.

You represent that you have all rights necessary to grant this licence and that your content does not violate anyone else's rights.

6. End-to-end encrypted messages

Direct messages are end-to-end encrypted. We do not have the ability to decrypt them. You acknowledge that this means we cannot recover lost messages, and that the security of your messages depends on the security of your device.

7. Real-world meetings & safety

You meet other users at your own risk. SOLDER does not verify the identity, background, or intentions of any user. We do not perform criminal background checks. You are solely responsible for your decisions to communicate with or meet any other user, and for your personal safety. Always meet in public, tell a friend, and trust your instincts.

8. Location data

The Service displays your approximate location to other users when you check in. You control whether and when you check in. Be aware that sharing your location may reveal where you are; only check in when you are comfortable being visible.

9. Subscriptions & in-app purchases

The Service is currently free to use. If we introduce paid features, those purchases will be made through the Apple App Store or Google Play and governed by their respective terms in addition to these Terms.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Profile → Settings → Delete account. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms, expose us or other users to risk, or as required by law.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, reliability, or availability. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any user is who they claim to be.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall Decent Dynamix, its officers, directors, employees, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your interactions with other users, or any content you encounter, whether based on warranty, contract, tort, statute, or any other legal theory.

Our aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed USD $50 or the total amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, whichever is greater.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of liability for certain damages; in such cases the limitations above apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Decent Dynamix from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your content; (c) your interactions with other users; or (d) your violation of these Terms or any law.

14. Apple App Store

If you obtained the app from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Decent Dynamix only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support. In the event of any failure of the app to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any). To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

15. Google Play

If you obtained the app from Google Play, you also agree to comply with the Google Play Terms of Service. Google is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the app.

16. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the country in which Decent Dynamix is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be brought exclusively in the competent courts of that country, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws grant you the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence.

17. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced inside the app or by email. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
